I had the pleasure of working with talented composer Matthew Weaver on the first song of a cycle he is currently writing – this one was called “Crimson Sheet“. In Matthew’s own words: “In this music, I explore an optimistic perspective on death through the story of a fragile oak leaf finding one last burst of energy before letting go and soaring to a new place.”I filmed the video in the beautiful St. Giles church near Leintwardine just before Christmas, which gives the video a bit of a festive feel with the snowy scenes taken outside!
