I studied music at Durham University, specialising in composition, before launching my professional singing career. Operatic roles have included Tosca, Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), Adina (L’elisir d’amore) and Tatyana (Eugene Onegin). I’ve had the privilege of working with world-renowned conductors such as Gianandrea Noseda and Sir Andrew Davies, and directors including Yoshi Oida and David Pountney.
As a concert performer, I have sung in iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Cadogan Hall, and Queen Elizabeth Hall, with performances broadcast on BBC Radio 3. My repertoire spans from Brahms’ Requiem and Dvořák's Mass in D to Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation, Mozart’s Exsultate, Jubilate, Schubert’s Mass in G, Poulenc’s Gloria, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder.
As a session singer, I’ve recorded with the BBC Singers, Vocals Unlimited, London Voices, RSVP Voices, and Conventus, in iconic studios including Abbey Road and Maida Vale. I’ve contributed to major film and TV projects and collaborated with artists and composers such as Danny Elfman, Nightwish, Nicholas Hooper, Audiomachine, and Vince Clarke (Songs of Silence), as well as leading vocals for the international project Autumn Tears. I also collaborate regularly with Brit-nominated producer Patrick Patrikios, bringing classical technique into modern songs.
Current projects include creating my own vocal sample pack, and releasing cinematic soundscapes as Vox Celestia. I continue my vocal studies with the wonderful Arwel Treharne Morgan.
